Leopard and Lightroom, happy together?

Recently I upgraded my MacBook Pro OS to the latest and greatest OS X 10.5 Leopard. I resisted the urge to upgrade the day it came out, partly because I like to be in the second wave of adopters, after a few fixes have been released, and party because I had read about numerous issues with Lightroom compatibility with Leopard, and news of an imminent point release that would address those issues.

Well, it was only a few weeks later and Adobe released Lightroom 1.3. So last Thursday I dutifully backed up my whole hard drive, and did a Erase and Install option of OSX 10.5. So far, it’s been working great. Lightroom seems to be happy in it’s new home, but I haven’t had the chance to really put it through it’s paces yet. I’ll be doing a shoot on Thursday, and I’m bringing my MacBook Pro along to do instant previews, so I can see how it will hold up in a real world situation.

Here’s a great article on what’s new in Lightroom 1.3.
